For more than six hundred years on Kazimierz were coexisting two different cultures. Jews and Christians.
Once independent town, later part of city Krak 0‡1 0…6w, Kazimierz district has been heavily damaged during the Second World War.
After the end of the war many empty building were deteriorating, and the traces of Jewish culture were slowly vanishing with the time.
But now Kazimierz is alive again.
After the summer break we are going to bring more pages about the present and the past.
